We're Cadence. We build the planning tool we always wished we had for shipping software.
The way software gets built has changed — but most planning tools haven't. They're slow, heavy, and built for reporting up rather than shipping fast. We think a project tool should feel like part of the craft, not a tax on it.
We were always told planning tools had to be heavy.
We've spent our careers wrangling Jira, Trello, Notion, and Linear — loving parts of each, fighting the rest. Every team ends up bolting on plugins and process until the tool slows the work down. We wanted to start from the opposite end: fast by default, opinionated where it helps, quiet everywhere else.
